So when Kathy and I were debating about what book we wanted to read for the first Reagan Arthur Books Challenge read-along, I knew my vote was for the fourth book in the series STARTED EARLY, TOOK MY DOG. I absolutely loved it and was pleasantly surprised by not only the mystery, but the literary quality of the book as well. ![]() ![]() Reagan ArthurĪ few years ago, my book club read the first novel in the Jackson Brodie series called CASE HISTORIES by Kate Atkinson. Dog in tow, Jackson is about to learn, along with Tracy, that no good deed goes unpunished. ![]() Meanwhile, Jackson Brodie, the beloved detective of novels such as Case Histories, is embarking on a different sort of rescue-that of an abused dog.
